Some of my less than attractive work. Two higher angle planes made of apple. The tapered blades are from Lee Valley. The maple Krenov style has a Hock blade,chip breaker.

An extremely nice looking pair. The only problem I see is; they are to pretty to actually use!

The planes work well. I found it is quicker to build a Krenov plane than clean up an old metal plane.The two smoothers I needed to finish off some cranky walnut I used for a spice chest. I had to decorate them a little so I didn’t mistake them for fire wood.

You must be getting a cold….. I can hear you coffin here coffin there.

Nice work, and that they are users says a lot. I think most hand made planes end up being decorations.
