When various orthopedists who treated my leg, ankle, knee and hip injuries, they asked what I did in early life to bang up my body so much. I said that in my 40s I was a high altitude mountain climber. In my 70s, I’m a woodworking enthusiast but the long hours standing in my workshop were literally killing me! My solution was to create resilient floors throughout my workshop built around my exercise equipment and woodworking tables, workbenches, and cabinets.

In addition to the resilient floors, I added red and white oak, walnut, and cocobolo to create a durable and beautiful effect.

Wow, that’s some shop. Took a mighty fine woodworker to build such a beautiful shop. Thanks for inspiring
