I bought a multifunction printer last year and didn’t really have room for it on my existing office furniture, so I built this out of a plywood frame and a tabletop I bought at Lowes.
I wrapped the top in pine 1×2’s so I didn’t have to look at the end grain (and so it would match my desk). I put the multifunction printer on top so I can use the scanner, and my laser printer for invoices goes on the lower shelf, which I put on a drawer slide to make it easier to clear the odd paper jam, etc.
I also solved a bigger problem I’ve had for years, in that I now have a place for all the paper stock i used to have piled up in odd places. I also put it on casters so I can move it should the need arise, as it has multiple times since I brought it into the office.
Obviously not fine furniture, but as with most of the things I’ve built, I waited until my hobby matched up with my needs and budget.

This came out beautifully. It’s a very nice printer stand.
