Had some scraps of Maple sitting around the shop….resawed into parts I could make some use of. Panels for the front, back and top were glue ups..3/8” thick…edges were then beveled to make a raised panel look.

1/4” plywood for the bottom. had a piece of 3/8” Cherry ( I think..) that could be used for the end panels.
Feet are just fancy nails that were just sitting around. Handles from Hobby Lobby. One coat of Amber Shellac, one coat of Poly Gloss Varnish.

Stands at 9” tall. Lid measures 9-1/4” x 14” Black chain held in place with a pair of Brass cup hooks, crimped shut.

Just a way to use up some scraps in the shop…rather than just burn them.

Thanks for looking in.

Bandit, you get some scraps like those you start thinking of burning up, let me know. I’ll swap ya pound for pound of real firewood.

Nice looking odds n ends box, love those feet.

Thanks for posting.
