I needed a quick and easy woodworking project. I decided on this small box with lid. Problem was, not so quick and not so easy it took three days to complete. Lots of false starts and some pondering: just how do I make this cut or drill those holes? Anyway I made this small table top box.
Walnut body with maple legs and handle. I used copper rod for handle and standoffs for the legs. I added the mirror to the bottom as an afterthought, adds a little depth to the box I think.

Very nice and unusual shape. I like those curved bow shaped legs.

You did a great job. Really nice design, looks sharp, very modern. The contrasting woods makes it pop. You know what they say” Always costs more, always takes longer.” But it was sure worth it. Thanks for inspiring

Contrasting woods rule here, and the tubing handle is pretty smart thinking. I can’t get past the feeling I saw it take a step though. Kinda early Roomba, walking cleanup tool….

Thanks for posting.

Very nice, I like the Brass standoffs, I may have to try something like that some day.
