This is a simple room divider I built for my Mother-in-law a couple of years ago. My wife designed it by creating some boxes in a pattern she liked with Excel and I scaled it off and took it from there. It was a fun project. It is about 7-1/2 feet high, 6 feet wide, and 18 inches deep. She wanted it to match the color of the wood floor that we installed earlier that same year.

Nice piece! What sort of joinery did you use for the boxes that have the free-hanging corners?

The boxes with free hanging corners are dowelled. Everything else is mortise and tenon.
