Wanted some round trivets or hot plates to set bigger hot kitchen hot pots on.
This was my first project I made with my table saw I bought off a person from Greg’s list.
Made a 10”x10” cut out of a 1/8 th ” thick plywood board. Made 2 of them. Measard 1/2 ” from blade to fence clamp, set blade so it would cut almost 3/4 deep of what the board was.
Made my first cut then turned board over and made a cut the other way from the first cut. I measured 1/2 ” for each cut tell the whole board had cross cuts on both sides. Next took a ice cream gallon lid and traced it with a blk marker then cut the circle out with my scroll saw on fast speed wit a thin blade. Then I sanded it on my belt sander to get the burs off and smoothen the edges.
Wife loves em and is very happy to put them to good use.

Until next time , sawdust huggs to all
From lumber jock Jeff.

Congratulations. I’ll be honest my first TS project wasn’t that nice.

Thanks for posting.

Nice work, and I promise my first TS project did not look this good. Seems to me it met the burn pile awhile back.
