nice work – i love platform beds. i’m wondering why the beech is steamed, and also what kind of joinery you used?

i say steamed cause its direct translation, maybe heat treated wood would be more apropriated.Because dry beech wants to bent sometimes.Than if u treat her in this way the proces kills her properties. My english is rather bad so cant explain better.
joinery ekcentar screws,and metal angles.

That looks great. Not exactly what I was thinking of doing for a bed in the future for me, but similar, however it also kind of makes me rethink my design I had in my head :) Any chance you could add a picture with mattress and all on it so I can see how it looks in it’s functioning form? Thank you for sharing it :)

no instructions or plans but its not that complicated , all the sides were glued in L form the rest is just joining with metal L plates .
