The top is cherry, sides are curly maple, drawers are maple. One of those “lets try this” projects, from those scraps that my wife wanted me to throw in the smoker – not this time. Made the drawers first then made the cabinets (this and the tea caddy).

Very nice. One of these has been near the top of my to-do list for quite a while and I like the design of yours much better than what I was planning. But I think I’ll wait a bit – we’re planning to get a new monitor soon and want to check heights before jumping in with both feet. Yours meets two of my requirements – drawers and space underneath to slide the keyboard out of the way.

Great job! Like your tea caddy, too!

Very beautiful. I bet your wife is glad you didn’t throw any of it in the fire!
