Project Information

Saw a video on YouTube the other day and made me want a cheese board. This on is for my Mom though, I bought 4 extra kits to make myself one and some others to give away. The wood is obviously walnut. I had a board that I noticed this section of more figured wood it was about 2' or so into the wood so I just cut it out. The section was only about 12" so it was a perfect use as the rest of the board was nice straight grain. Tried it out real quick and it does work really well.

The video I watched was from Woodworking Maniac channel and his site has the kits for sale as an FYI. He also had simple plans for a quick jig to drill hole for free.

Nice looking slicer. You can also gets kits from cheeseslicing.com. My woodworking club has bought 4 or 5 hundred kits in the last year. They are great gifts and you can get very creative on the design.
