Shortly after my Mum asked me to make her a new chopping board I found a piece of Elm in the offcut room of a local sawmill that looked perfect for the project. In fact, I got two boards out of it so my wife got one too.
So one pass on the table saw, some sanding, a couple of coats of food-safe oil and they were done.
The rubber feet is an experiment at this point as I am not sure they are really required.
