Project# 1 (2013)
This was my first wood working project. Primarily used bridle joinery for the base. The top came from a neighbors cedar fence she was throwing away.

Very nice work! I have been thinking about doing one similar for our breakfast table only round. this really came together nicely.

Soo much love! Y’all sure know how to make a fella feel special!!

I will try to post more pics of the table top construction. I used my “lunchbox” planer to take the boards down so 1/2” . The boards were pretty dry so I adhered it to plywood with a mix of glue/pin nails. It pictures well, but there are defects that I think add to the character, haha.
The incra miter sled kept my miter cuts tight, accurate and consistent on my dw745 saw. I believe is was set to 60 degrees, then just flip the board over and do it again. I still have to build the matching bench seat. :)
