AF Emblem Inlay Shadow Box

This box uses a solid face with inlay rather than 11 individual pieces. Additionally, there is a through hole that allows a single star on a US flag to show through. The idea to use the inlay came from the receptionist at the glass company where I have my glass cut. I was showing her pictures of the previous AF emblem box and she thought it was inlay. And then it dawned on me, why not use inlay as it is so easy to cut with the router and the inlay bushing kit. I definitely prefer this design due to the ease of construction and the fact that it is true to the official AF emblem (2nd picture). The box and face are made from red oak and the inlay is 1/4” birch plywood stained with ebony stain. Everything was finished with 4 coats of hand-rubbed low gloss tung oil. The client was very happy.

Very clever to show the flag star through an integration of the AF symbol

I’m new to the site but I would love to know what you charge for a nice shadow box like this one? Please let me know I am soon to be retired from the USAF and my career was ICBMs. Missiles mainly Minuteman III, and some Peacekeepers and Delta, and Atlas missiles. Please let me know if you have any ideas along these lines. Again keep up the exceptionally job.
