No measuring required. I set my kerfmaker so that each slot is 1/16 larger than it’s corresponding wrench shaft. The spaces between the slots were set by using the closed end of each wrench. From the side, you can see the V-dado going across the top.

Initially, the “V” angle was shallow but it didn’t work well. I increased the angle and it’s a lot better but my next one will have a straight dado.

I like it. I was going to use dowels to hang the wrenches. Your way leaves more room to write the wrench size on the wood.

That’s a great idea! Never thought about something to hold them, but a nail, or a nut. Nice idea, and looks great to

Should have done mine this way. I get annoyed every time I knock them off the dowels on mine. Just added 3/8th rare earth magnets for each wrench! Good stuff.

Just noticed this rack in the lazy susan post. Great idea, I may have to borrow it for my shop at work. Hoping to get some time this winter to reorganize.

I really like this! I currently have a wrench rack on my tool wall that I made with brass “L” hooks. I was happy with it until I saw yours. I really like the fact that they stay put in the holder. It’s a simple and elegant solution for storing them on a tool wall. I’m glad I saw your project. Thanks
