Friends bought a 2nd home and needed a backscratcher for the new home – just like the one they have in their original home.

So I made one to match. White oak handle formed on the bandsaw. Walnut head cut on the bandsaw. Pegged with maple pegs. Lacquer finish.

When I first saw the one original that our friends have I thought – “How can this thing be any good?” But its amazing how well it scratches the back.

The handle is 13.5” long and the head is 5” long x 1.5” x 3/4”
The other side of the head has 5 scratchers at about an inch long – 45 degree angle.

This back scratcher will make a fine gift.
