Here’s the latest shuffleboard table delivered.

This one’s an 18’ Qtr Sawn 8/4×12” wide Red Oak cabinet with 7” c-channel legs. Client also wanted 3” angle iron to accent the corners (This I found out after the blind dovetails) See pic #4 for that one :-( I will admit, I do like the way it came out just could have saved some time by only dovetailing the exposed portions.

Also has leather at each end covering the scoring areas of gully, walls, & wraps under the oak hand rail which wraps the entire perimeter of the cabinet. A 16’ Oak shelf along the bottom for storage of their custom pucks, bowling pins, pin setter, and all the supplies.

Also has a Qtr Sawn Oak hard top (not shown in any pics) Along with a 12/4×20 x 16’6” long traditional Hard Maple playing surface with Walnut inlays & an acrylic top coat.

All the oak has a “Pioneer Wood” patina with satin poly finish.

And I got to use my new Oliver 4240 joiner to boot :-)

Another 150+ hr project down…..on to the next one

Wow! Looked at your other projects and this matches them in size and beauty. Go big or go home seems to be your motto ;) The recipient/client, must be ecstatic with the results. Great work!

Very nice table. Fine craftsmanship. I need one of those in my basement.

Thanks builtinbkn!!
The clients are beyond pleased, so much so that their son stopped by while installing and wants a larger table for his place now.
Seems to be par for the course as of late. Next 3 projects up (lg ones anyway) 16’ & 22’ shuffleboards, and another set of garage doors (those are going to CT) so I’ll be passing thru your AO soon.{Wish me luck} ;-)

Thank you SeesWoodworks!

And I’d be more than happy to walk you through a DYI for one if you need.
If can’t yourself, I deliver all over the country and happen to be making 2 treks east bound twice this year ;-)

This is a very nice shuffle board table and I’m sure they were well pleased with it.
