Although the knight looks like a chess figure, it is actually a small souvenir with the inscription of my country BELARUS, which is often called the country of castles. On the shield is an ancient symbol – known as the Jagiellonian cross or the cross of the Euphrosyne of Polotsk.

Very nicely done, beautiful carving. Yes it does look like a chess piece, maybe you should carve a chess set with that same theme. It would be a beautiful. Thanks for inspiring.

He reminds me of the Teutonic Knights from the old movie about Alexander Nevsky. Great job, thanks for posting.
