Hickory birdhouse with walnut accents. The roof is in two layers. The bottom layer is cut from a discarded polished vent pipe found beside a friends dumpster. The top layer is cut out of the top an old DVD player.

pipe vent is a great way to keep the predators from chewing away. i thought i read two ventilation holes are best for providing proper airflow. not sure if i am right. love the roof idea :)
