This birdhouse is constructed of maple on the front and sides with a red oak back. I welded two bolts to the back of a transmission gear out of my Honda push mower. The metal roof was cut out of the back of a retired gas grill. I hammered it on my table saw over the miter slot then sanded the paint off the high spots. This house provides proof that I never throw away anything.

“This house provides proof that I never throw away anything.” And your little feathered friends will be thanking you for that. Nice job on this and the rest of your birdhouse posts.

You got a lot of creativity with ‘junk’. Nice job, very nice job. :)
