Hello fellows, at this time I would like to share my last small projects (but not easy at knife job).

Beyond woodworking I love good quality knives.Because the ratio against my money (Real) and Dollar they became very expensive to me.I have some W├╝sthof and Henckels knives but they are the last.

I saw this video below about Hock Knife Kit and I decided to purchase one and make the handle at home.So I just copied his job using myself tools.

I choose my wood at an old bench leg I found on garbage near my home few years ago.It is a Brazilian Rosewood.

I used my scroll saw for lot of cuts

Because I don’t have a good quality belt sander I round the edges using my small router.

Bottle Opener

In Brazil it is very common at bars the use of this very simple bottle opener.Because this flat part over the cap it can’t be damaged durig opening process.

This is very simple it is only a piece of wood and a screw.I did it using a scrap of round piece and a stainless roof screw.

I prefer this kind of screw but any flat head screw will works.

Here some other models you can see here in Brazil.

At this video you can see how nice the bottle is opened wuth this kind of opener.

Thanks for attention

Wow really nice work. The handles have a really simple/elegant look to them. I’m a beer drinking kind of guy so your bottle opener wins it all with me! I LOVE that thing! simple and it makes a funny statement about being a woodworker! Thanks for sharing.
