I made this almost a year ago.

I needed a bathroom stool for my daughter, and found these plans free online somewhere. I didn’t even have a table saw at the time, but as this needs just 1 length of 1×6, it was just right.

It was so easy, I made another for my 3 yr old nephew for Christmas (who promptly took a wooden mallet to the top and dented the heck out of it.. oh well!).

Made from pine. Minwax stain with 2 or 3 coats of spar urethane, which has held up pretty good to dripping hands for the last year.

Hard to go wrong with poly in the bathroom. Simple but practical.
