That is really nice. Memory’s of my youth. An Uncle my Moms BIL was a Doctor out on Long Island NY and he had a board. His was brought home from Italy after WWII, it was an original 32 footer, and it like this one was a work of art, whoever made Uncle Joe’s put in the kind of attention that you did here. Since then most of the one’s I have seen were crappy particle board. I makes me happy to see someone making a nice board like this today.
Thanks for posting. Enjoy playing.

Awesome project! My only question is how many people does it take to move it or does it come apart in manageablepieces?

Awesome Project!

Hopefully you don’t leave that beautiful thing out in the weather. How long did it take you to make it?
Thanks for posting.

Oops. Sorry for double comments. I check and didn’t see my first comment and thought I didn’t hit SUBMIT. It’s obvious that I did. Getting old is so challenging. Thanks for the answer.

This is a very nice project. However, I would also agree that it should be kept out of the weather if possible. Congratulations, you really did a nice job on it.

No unfortunately Uncle Joe, and My Moms Sister Dolly are both long gone from this earth, their place sold off, and everything in it. Their kids really didn’t keep much. It was a combo of both wood, and very ornate metal grillwork. I’ve never seen another one like it. I think it was a case of the kids had it, and it meant not much to them. I would have kept it if I had an option, I always thought it to be special.
I was doubling back anyhow to check, and sure enough they awarded you a 3. Congrats on your 3, it is well deserved.
