My Scroll Saw / Jigsaw Table Attachment

I wanted to do some scroll saw thick cuts but the blades couldn’t do the task.
At first I was thinking to mount my other jigsaw inverted on piece of wood and do those cuts, but then again the blade would be unsupported and I was not sure if I will mess things up.
So after a bit of head scratching and few hours of work, I came up with an attachment to my jigsaw powered scroll saw table that allowed me to do the cuts I needed with less risk and easier.
Here is my attachment that turned my scroll saw table in to a Jigsaw table.
As you may have noticed by now, I don’t give too much attention to looks when it comes workshop tools or furniture, for me is the functionality that matters most.

Hope you like the idea !!!
Thank you for watching and leave a comment if you want :)

Hat’s off Steliar ! This is nice elaborate jigsaw table. As usual, it’s all in the details.

Best,
Serge

Very cool. I may copy your idea myself.I have no band saw or scroll saw and find it impossible to get a plumb cut with the jigsaw, the blade always skews to one side or the other. Thanks for sharing this.

That is a great idea and with the bearings is going over the top. Good thinking.

WOW! It’s awesome to have both tools in one package!! Never mind about look -as long as it’s functional.
