Saw this chair being made on Rough Cut with Tommy Mac. His special guest was Tom McLaughlin and he designed this with a few changes. Great plans and video as well at “Epic Woodworking”. It was a pleasure to build… looking forward to the next one.

Looks like perfection 8^)

Plenty of subtle details and I like how you used the block plane for the tips!

What wood and finish did you use?

Wonderful chair, love a Morris chair, and you’ve added rockers, joy. Looks correct as can be, and that color is fabulous.

Thanks for sharing.

I am going to enjoy Tom McLaughlin a lot more than I ever liked watching T Mac. McLaughlin has mastered speaking English, and I believe he has more of a base to teach from than that other guy.

I wish that Epic Woodworking would offer their plans at more reasonable prices. The ones for this rocker just jumped from $27 to $35, a bit rich for my blood, although the design is top notch.
