That sure looks like Jarl Borg in the “Vikings” hit series…..!!! He died a horrible death….!!

He was a snake, and back stabber, yet he took his “BLOOD EAGLE” wordlessly like a true Viking. Not like King Aelle who went down like a girlie Man. The wiki has interesting talk of this in Nord literature, and the practice supposedly used twice, both time for reaction to someone having killed a Father.

Jarl Borg was a fierce and ruthless warrior though.

Another very nice carving Bagushevich, thanks for posting, and congrats on your 3.
