This is actually the first Japanese style piece of furniture we made.
Hannes wanted to try to make the torii because he had never before made something like that.
So he invented a way how to make the arc with the milling router.
This is also the first time we made the Japanese joiners without using glue or screws.
I think it could be more stable so we might redesign it somehow but right now we are satisfied with the outcome and use it in our entryway hall.

That’s a very nice looking clothes rack—I like the overall design, and the wedged tusk tenons!
