I have made several of these for friends and hunting buddies. I try to personalize each for the person they are intended for. This box is all 5/8 pecan with ambrosia maple lid panels. The front and rear engravings were stained with dark walnut. Brass rifle shells were used for drawer pulls. A lot of fun to build.

I saw a similar box here on lumber jocks and modified it to fit my needs. The carcass is pretty basic and then you can customize it however you like. Thanks for the kind words to all.

This is great looking. I love the carvings and the wood selection. I could use a box like this.

I really like the gun cleaning box. The design, construction, finish, all look great. But most of all I like the 007 image. Thanks for inspiring

I love this, it’s beautiful and pecan is so rare. A real pleasure to see.
