Hello . Yesterday my friend had a birthday and I decided to make for him a jar of bog oak. For this, I took a board 50 mm thick and from two parts milled two halves of a jar with a diameter of 170 mm. Inside, I impregnated everything with wax so that the alcohol would not be absorbed into the tree and glued them together. In the traffic jam I made an opening and pasted a plastic stopper there. I made a round insert on the jar from ash. In the end, I covered everything with oil properly. In order to see the whole production process, click on the link. Enjoy watching

Very neat.
I think it is a super project.
I am not sure that wax will last long with the alcohol though?
