I should have taken photos to show how bad this piece of wood was before I did the colour infills.
Anyway the result was Ok but the blue metallic blue colour may have been better.
I used Super Glue (CA Glue) with ‘Langridge Artist Pigments’ as a filler (thanks for the tip Jim).
Finished with several coats of wipe on poly.
This piece of white cedar was particularly unstable but has great grain.

Nice work Tony. The red is nice but like you said the blue contrast better on wood. Nice shine on it too!
