This is an Alex Fox pattern. He has 5 or 6 bowl patterns for the scroll saw. This is the first one I have attempted. It was fun and not as difficult as I imagined.

Great job Buddy, Love the shape and how they work.
Thanks for sharing.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

That bowl is just so cool! I had never heard of Alex Fox but went right away to check out his site. I will be getting some of his patterns for sure. Bowls like this are big sellers at craft shows. Thanks for the tip and again great job of cutting.

These are so beautiful and you did a wonderful job on scroll sawing them and all the other work as well.

All 6 comments before me are correct.

Those of us that use a scrollsaw as a primary weapon can really appreciate the skills and care required to make this!

That is very nice. Thanks for posting.

I have a scroll saw, but don’t consider myself a scroll saw woodworker, so I had no idea how that was done just looking at the pics. Simply Googled “Alex Fox pattern” and there were You Tube videos, and a bunch of info. So thanks to bumping me into looking too.

Congrats on your 3.
