One of my first “Indoor” projects commissioned by my wife was this Sideboard that we actually use to hide the toys away since my son uses our dining room as a playroom. Constructed with Maple Ply and Walnut top. This was also my first attempt at inset doors.

I’m partial to those colors. Long ago when first married my bride wanted a cupboard for her bathroom. I had a piece of Walnut, some poplar scrap, and a few pieces of BB Plywood. After seeing the Walnut top my wife went and bought some paint for what otherwise would have looked like a hodge podge cabinet. Same colors if my monitor is correct. I wanna say the paint chip said it was Dove Gray.

Nice job, thanks for posting.

Nice cabinet. The top is gorgeous.
