Just another variation on the time honoured cutting board… playing around with angles and stripes…

Purple heart and Silver Ash with Silky Oak edging on the long side.

The last pic as usual is a teaser of a few new endgrain chopping boards…Pattern #1 and a variation of Pattern #4 from McLeanVA 's Blog. I moved the pieces around for a completely different look for the #4 variation…. I have also milled all the timber for pattern #2 but still in the pre glue up stage.. I do intend to make all 6 and maybe a few variations…

Really pretty work, Larry! I was wondering what you were doing up so late when I saw the email come in just now (1:52AM), but then I remembered where you were :)

Larry, those are great looking; you’re both productive and creative. You just keep cranking out beautiful things.

Ahhh Larry, at it again. I always look fwd to your posts. I just finished 5 more boards but didnt post them being there the same s others I have made. Orders to fill, I have came up with a another design that I’m close to posting. I made this one by mistake by getting in a hurry and like it the best thus far. I need to wax it today or tomarrow and I’ll post it.

Hope all is well down under mate Cheers!

Very beautiful and unique Larry as usual you broke the mold again. You have a habit of doing that, coming up with new and clever ideas. You inspire the rest of us. mike

Nice.
Variations of parquet. There are quite a few designs you can make out of these.
I like it (them).
