A bit overdue in posting, but I used up some scraps to make a couple white elephant gifts for Christmas.

Tray is oak, purpleheart, and center strip of padauk.

Beer tote is oak with walnut dowels and handle. Credit for the design goes to another Lumberjock (I can’t recall where I saw this originally). Wasn’t too sure about the handle strength so I improvised with an oak dowel at the very end.

Beautiful tray and very matched stripes. Beer tote is very nice -between various versions of it, this one looks pretty cool.

My curiosity got the better of me, wondering what the devils brew was….

So along with The Carpenters Mikan ale

something I would like to try.

Nice individual touch on the project too! A question … what process did you use to do the bottle base recesses?

Nice work! I really like the look of that tray. Can you explain how you made it?
