My Dad asked if I could make him a Fleur De Lis for my cousin who has a sports shop in that area. So this is what I came up with. I made it out of Claro and Maple Burl. Let me know what you think! Love the encouragement.

WHO DAT, haha. Sorry all I could think about was the New Orleans Saints when I saw this. Looks great.
. EDIT I typed this statement before I read your description, so I would say you have hit a home-run with this one.
