I have been meaning to start making some of these and after seeing Mary Anne’s posting of hers, I decided it was finally time. These two are made using Walnut and Curly Maple. Next I am going to try three or four pieces and I am also going to make some coasters using the same process.

This would be the type of style I would want to do a cutting board in. You say coasters by doing the same process ….. what is the process to begin with??? I would think the bandsaw wouldnt allow you to get all your joints to fit together without gaps …. do tell.

Great looking boards!!

mikeswoodshop and anyone else who missed it,

As long as your band saw is set up properly with the table level and the blade at 90ยบ, this is really quite a simple board to make in just a few steps.

Here is my blog on how to make the Wild ‘n’ Crazy board pattern.

This is why I LOVE IT here at LJs. Not only do get to see great inspirations, but someone will always add that little something. (Thanks Patron)
Great Job on the boards.
