This is my newest box. The box itself is all Walnut, the dovetailed splines are Butternut, which were fun to make, and I will be using in alot of future projects as I think they add a nice feature. The Birds Eye Maple inlaid in the top has been in the workshop for 6 months or so just waiting for a box to be built for it. Thanks for looking.

Great box! Nice dovetailing. Who’s getting it?

Beautiful colour of the maple on the lid, and your right the splines do add a finishing touch to the box.

The top is beautiful. You saved that piece of maple for a good project.
