I thought I’d try making a 2.5d cnc carving of a deer. I purchased the file on E-Bay for $2.00. I figure what do I have to lose? I will post finished work when completed, good or bad.

I’ve heard of 3d but I don’t know what 2.5d is, can you explain?

Awsum, 2.5d is like relief carving. Where 3D is more like sculpture. 2.5 has 3 dimensions but is not considered true 3D like 3D printers do.

Post your end results! I’m toying with getting a CNC and enjoy seeing what others make. Have fun!
