Made this cool little sensory table for a friend down the street. The idea is to fill up the inside tray with sand, rocks, water, anything that enhances the sense of touch. These are used in preschools to help kids develop their fine motor muscles. Wood is all scrap I had laying around, Whitewood and Douglas Fir. As an added point of interest, I got to use my new (well not really) Delta Mil. table saw on this project. The saw was built in the 1940s! (forgot exact year) I finally got around to installing a new motor in the saw and it worked pretty well to my surprise.

This is a nice robust table and very practical for its intended purpose. Nice work.
