This is a 6ft 11’’ storage bench with two separate compartments. This was built for a coffee shop, Jaunt Coffee in Mira Mesa. The shop is still in the process of opening up. They have a “rustic meets industrial” look going on, so I added black hardware on the top of the lids and in the corners of the frame. It matched very well with the interior of the shop. I was a little nervous because the bench had to fit between those two black steel poles you see in the last two photos, luckily it fit perfectly and the customer was very happy. The wood is a mix of Douglas Fir, Whitewood, and Oak for the lids. It is stained (at the customers request) with “Natural” from Minwax.

Great looking bench! I could totally see stressing over the spacing between those two poles as well.
