This is a bandsaw box made out of Bloodwood and Spalted Silver Maple. It was inspired by our fellow LJ, Huff’s “Flame” box. Mine is nowhere close to the quality of his, as I made a few mistakes. Huff, thanks for the inspiration, and I apologize for linking your name to such an inferior piece, haha.
.
EVERYBODY is welcome to critique away on this one.haha

Great custom piece. I love originality when it comes to bandsaw boxes.

Zeke
Nice work, good use of the grain to add to the Flame shape of you work. I also like the vertical drawer concept. Well done.

Zeke, I don’t get a chance to get on LJ’s as much as I would like, but I’m sure glad I got to see your “flame” box. I love the grain of the bloodwood (especially on the right side of the box). It really has a nice flow to it and the spalted maple is a nice contrast for the handles. You did a great job on your box and look forward to your next one.

Lots of LJ’s showing off their bandsaw boxes…..and all awesome! So, I want to make one too…..but there is no “how-to” anywhere….! I got the wood, I got the bandsaw, but I don’t got the design for the “how-to”...
p.s. Great work Zeke….there are no mistakes, if seen from a distance! :)
