A couple years ago, I made two of these for my grandchildren. One was black chalk board with white letters, and the 2nd was light oak with black letters.

Now with a new grandchild in the family, I was asked to make a dark oak with white lettering growth board.

I used a Hobby Lobby white paint pen to make the increment marks.

I printed out and carbon traced the numbers, then used an artist’s brush to fill inside the carbon tracing lines with acrylic white paint.

You see my Trials & Tribulations on this project on my woodworking web site.

Well done.

T & T (E) is the same design company that does most of my design work too.

This is a nice attractive piece and very practical.
