Measuring Board for son

Measuring board I made for my son with all the keep sake information from his Birthday. Used the Piranha Fx Laser engraver and a pine panel from Lowe’s. I experimented with Minwax Classic Gray stain followed with Special Walnut to give it a kind of rustic look. The Gray in the pine panel helped with this as well. The top took 12 hours to burn and each 1 foot mark took about 4 hours. All in all it came out pretty nice. Also made one for his older sister. Pictures of that one coming soon.

Wow. You’re definitely a dedicated soul. I just bought a woodburning kit for the wife. Definitely a job I’ll turn over to her. :)

This is a wonderful idea. My children’s grandparents had a designated door frame that was used and still there
