Simple, but tedious little box. I really focused on getting everything just right and dead square. Doing so made the build time stretch out a bit, but the result was worth it. First box I’ve ever made that didn’t have a little wobble.
Construction is all walnut with maple pins and handles. Card scaped the hell out of it and finished it off with arm-r-seal, then a light wax and buff. Draw bottoms are done in black felt.

Real nice ! Your effort paid off. Love the simplicity, clean lines, and the contrast of the maple. Well done !

Simple and elegant! The little details really caught my attention like that round over on the top corner of the side pieces. And the wood color is beautiful! One thing I noticed on most of the boxes is the unusual grain patterns and colors.
