Project Information

Wife happens to mention she accidentally broke a box in the Grand daughters room can I make a stronger one to story some of her books? Made the first one from some scrap Walnut, kind of fancy with some Dove tails and matching grain corners. Simple and kind of nice? Then I remembered which daughter it was for and made the second box from 1/2" Oak Plywood, 3/8" finger jointed complete with a 1/2" bottom! I can use it as a step stool. lets she her break this one!
Anyways Jerry, maybe not as Purity as that other box but very functional? Some simple Boxes to kill time in the shop.
Wife laid claim to Walnut box for some Cookbooks. ( 101 Meals using Kraft Dinner and Spam ) :)
By the way the Box she broke was made from cardboard!!!

Beautiful craftsmanship Andre, I love the dovetails and the solid wood. Your wife absconded with the solid walnut one for he recipes. Good for her, shows she's got discerning taste in wood and woodworkers! I saw the snow outside your house in your previous post.. I'm jealous, we hardly ever get snow around here.
