Walnut & Copper Pipe Book Shelves

I made these shelves for a client. They’re made from 4/4 walnut and from construction-grade, three-quarter inch (L) copper pipe. More than 200 solders are included in this seven-shelf unit. Shelves are fully removable for ease of moving.

Unit measures 94” high x 40” wide x 12” deep. Because of the height I flared the feet out using 45 degree copper fittings. I think this will give it additional stability.
