This is 2 days of fun on the lathe. Splated Maple Burl, Maple burl, Dry Madrone burl and Green Madrone that I am letting distort.

Those look great. Burl woods are by far my favorite. I especially like the one on the back row on the right. Is that the green Madrone?

Very nice Greg. I was in Salem last week but just couldn’t convince the wife we needed to go a little furhter south. Maybe next trip.

hi nice peaces you have turned i like all of them the look great never turned burl wood but see what you have done i wish i could get my hands on some must start looking out for some not easy got here in Ireland o well cant have everything

Wow you certainly have made something nice with those pieces.
Glad you photographed them separately as well, as they look so much nicer.
