Finally did this project, I just wish it was easier to find out how to rotate iPhone pictures. Only mod was adding a footrest and scroll sawing the Saloon word, bottles are walnut & purpleheart.

Thanks awsum55, I’m on Linux Mint and when I view my originals they look OK possibly autorotaing, I’m fixing them in GIMP they should be better now.

The follow-up video by Steve shows how he did the bottles, I did basically what he did whittle the beer and scroll saw the purpleheart. This is an easy fun project. I did try the sign as a LaserJet reverse image transfer but wasn’t really happy with the result so I cut it out on my scroll saw. I’ll post an image of the transfer as I still have it. but check out the follow-up video in the meantime. https://youtu.be/Oc-TFqU3teA

That is really cool. Do you add a little whiskey to the feed?

cheers, Jim

Left is the LaserJet transfer reverse image and Acetone, Center is the paper after removed from the right cutout, right is the waste.

Awesome project. Great idea for a Bird Saloon, next to it you’ll have to build a Bird Bath. Of-course, your enabling those dirty birds, so they may never leave your Saloon/Spa again. They”ll always be expecting free drinks along with free Bird Food, even when their sober. Next thing you know they’ll be wanting Bird Houses, and a bigger and better Bird Feeding Saloon with a Casino and heated pool, along with free Health Care. And then they’ll file a complaint against you for Bird Watching and you’ll be forced to sell your Saloon and the proceeds will GO TO THE BIRDS. Thanks for inspiring

Pretty nice! I saw this years ago and remember I wanted to try one. I had forgotten about it until now. Thanks for refreshing my memory. Great job and thanks for sharing.

This is a great idea, I think I will have to attempt it. My brother in law would love one as well. Thanks for sharing this!
