Finally got the control knobs in the mail and finished it off. The tone acoustically is great! I borrowed a cheap amp from a friend (sold mine last spring) and everything works as planned and sounds yummy. The pick up switching is a 5 way strat switch and a push/pull switch on the tone knob that engages the bridge pick up regardless of the 5 way position. This way it gives me the option of having the bridge/neck combo or all 3 on combo. The neck is the biggest I could find and will take a bit of getting used to. Strung up with .011 – .050 strings.

Very nice. What kind of wood did you use? And tell us more about those control knobs – did you make them?

the guitar is a semi hollow body with a maple core and bookmatched ash for the front and back. I ordered the knobs from Q parts and they just came in yesterday.

Awesome guitar! Did you make the neck too? If so, how did you make it?

I did not make the neck, I bought it. It is an Allparts SMO-FAT, but I did dye it and make my own logo
