The Shining cutting board

All work and no play… This endgrain cutting board was made to mimic the carpet in The Shining. Made from walnut, padauk and cherry. Finished with mineral oil and beeswax.

Fantastic cutting board, I can’t fathom the glue up time involved. It’s interesting to me where you got the inspiration for the design.

Incredible. You nailed the design. Some creepy twins and a kid on a big wheel and Kubrick would be envious. Great job!

Hi. I’m new to lumberjocks. Your cutting board is fantastic. Great movie by the way. Are there plan designs for this and/or other end grain boards listed anywhere on this site? I appreciate any help/info that anyone can offer. Thanks,
