Having fun making these boxes, but sanding small puzzle pieces is getting old.

Well, the sanding may be getting old but you do a great job of it. I really like the wood you use “purpleheart” and the way you use it. Makes your puzzle boxes POP! Thanks for sharing

Very nice looking box. Do you have a way of keeping the bright colour of the PurpleHeart?

Thanks Jim. Unfortunately I’ve not been able to keep the color bright over time. I’ve read that sunlight brings the color out, but my experience does not support that claim. I made a lamp years ago with Padauk, Purpleheart and Mahogany and over the years they all appear to be a similar brown color.
